Rudolph Came Late

I'm so wrong for doing this, I feel like the Grinch. xD Please be advised that Santa is fine

This would've been an entry for THE MAGICAL TIME OF THE YEAR (CONTEST CLOSED) by I can't believe I missed the date after I made it some weeks ago lol. I didn't want to submit it too early and just in time for christmast... that means I'm the one that came late xD

Four hours before the accident.

Misty and stormy was the night of Christmas eve. Santa got lost on his way delivering gifts and time was running out, but there was someone who could get him through this blister. So Santa pulled out his iCone and gave Rudolph a call. "Hello-ho-ho, hello. How do you work this contraption?" Accidentally taking a selfie, he shouted. "Is Rudolph deer? Where are you, Rude?"

"Wassup, Big Red!" Answered Rudolph. "I'm hangin' with some deer in the rain, south from the North Pole."

"I need your help, Rude." Santa responded. "I'm in a snow storm and I can't see shi... shaving cream and I really need you to guide my sleigh tonight!" 

"But Santa, these rain deers aren't sticking around for very long and Jack Frost and I have just started to chill!" Rudolph complained. 

"Rude!" Santa eagerly replied. "Help me out here, man. Dasher already got snow in his right eye, and you know he already lost his left eye while playing pin the tail on the elf last year." 

 "Come on, Big Red!" Rudolph excitedly replied. "My nose just lit up without I even telling it to and that isn't supposed to happen!! It's... it's because of these rain deers, man."

"I know, I know." Replied Santa as he scratched his head. "It's probably a thrilling experience, but I need you. Well, actually, I need your nose, hehe-hoho".

"Dammit, Santa! Don't remind me of 'I got your red nose game'. Rudolph angrily responded. "I was like 3 months old. Just give me the coordinates."

"Ok!" Happily replied Santa. "I just passed the lake where Mrs. Claus and I used to... eh, never mind that. The giant pine trees are just ahead, just listen for my ho's after you've passed them!".

"Ohh!!" Rudolph slowly took the bottle of eggnog from Jack Frost. "I'm bringing eggnog later tonight!! They go great with lake stories Santa!"

"Ruude!!" Santa Responded.

"O... Ok." Replied Rudolph. "I'm on my way!" 

Santa ho'ed and ho'ed... and he ho'ed some more but Rudolph never came. He partied all night in the rain, with the deers, going sub-zero with Jack Frost on the dance floor until he finally remembered that Santa needed him. Shorty after Rudolph left the party, he came across a crash-site and saw Dasher with both eyes gone and now he knows why Mrs. Claus never took Santa ice skating. "Poor Dasher." Rudolph said. "Why did you have to go playing pin the tail on the elf again."
