Lunar Spirits

My entry for the Me and the Moon contest Me and the Moon by  

Description: 

Every full moon these spirits run towards the moonlight, illuminating the forest. Onlookers may find them scary but they aren’t meant to scare anyone. They harvest the moon’s light through their antlers, as a result of that, a miniature moon appeared above their heads. They first arrived after a solar eclipse, this wasn't a normal eclipse; it lasted for more than one hour. Ever since that day they roam the forest on every new moon.

I think I rushed this a bit. It could've been much cleaner and precise, especially the highlights on the horses, the tail was also a challenge. It also felt like it needed something, I guess staring at it won't give me any results. I hope you guys like it
