At first I was inspired by Mr-Ripley 's

. And then I noticed something, the monster cave looked like a computer game that I used to play, Zuma's Revenge. Maybe I was subconsciously creating an artwork for this game, haha. I even got a title right away, that means I didn't spend half an hour trying to name this piece...

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI like the scenery, it's obviously well drawn, shadows, colors as well, but I would add a few things: 1)I would add some creatures in woods, probably only their eyes, and maybe a creature-wolf in bottom right corner. I would go for scary ambient more than lonely and mysterious,
2) this is not a major thing but i would rotate right character also towards Temple as all three are so drawn towards it
That mist going from the Temple is a good detail, i like that, I like that stares are old and uneven,
Temple looks like it could use a little dept, maybe this is part of my "being scary" idea. It would be scarier if it was bigger<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
